Chaweng Beach is the action place on koh Samui. This is the longest beach on the island, has the best swimming, and is naturally very beautiful . The development which has occurred, however, has done little to enhance what nature provided. There is a vast selecttion of bungalows and more up-market accommodation on the beach, and behind these are a growing number of shops, discos, and bars.
